Forrest C. Tate, 71, of The Woodlands, Texas passed away September 28, 2016. He was born in Montgomery, Alabama on September 29, 1944 to Forrest Sr. and Eugenia Tate. He was married to Bonnie Tate on January 6, 1967, a union that lasted for 49 years.
Forrest worked in the Oil and Gas Industry for 54 years with Gulf Oil, Mitchell Energy, David Boone Consultants, El Paso Corporation and Vitruvian. He had a passion for playing golf and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Forrest C. Tate Sr., Eugenia (Jeannie) Tate; stepfather: Billy J. Clements; sister: Billie Jean Clements, and brothers: Johnny and George Tate.
Forrest is survived by his wife Bonnie, children: Tammey Scarborough and husband Kyle, Kenneth Tate and wife Anita, Curt Tate and wife Juli, grandchildren: Cody and Ben Scarborough, Melissa and Lauren Tate, Austin and Jessica Tate and Brooke Adams along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Tate, Curt Tate, Austin Tate, Kyle Scarborough, Cody Scarborough, Ben Scarborough, Dan Duhon and Daniel Duhon.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 12:00pm, followed by Funeral Services at 2:00pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, located at 18000 Interstate Hwy 45 S, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. Entombment will follow immediately after service.
