Ed, a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather is survived by his wife, Valerie; sister, Bonnie; daughter, Kari; son, Keith; grandsons, Ryan, Nick, Erik, Jonathan and Jordan; many great grandchildren and a small great, great grandchild.
Ed worked in the Oilfield in the USA and then in the Middle East from the age of 17. He started as a roughneck and retired as a serial Entrepreneur. He knew many people in the world of the oilfield, but many more knew and respected him.
He and Valerie were married for 38 crazy and turbulent years, moving often and working together to build several businesses.
Ed had the personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation, and his deep voice and laugh was unique and drew people to him. A man of many, many stories, some factual and some just funny, he was a joke and storyteller par excellence.
As a man of true integrity, if Ed gave his word, you could take it to the bank. A man with a high moral code and known for his honesty. He has been described as a legend in his own time.
Ed was a truly great man whose impact will be forever felt by his family, friends and colleagues around the world. He was a larger-than-life man whose passing has left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, and love will be forever remembered by those that loved him in return.
