David Guyer, 63, went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2021. David was a family man, served at church as a guitarist throughout his life and worked as a Utility Enterprise Electrical Manager for San Jacinto River Authority for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife Debbie, his daughter and son-in-law Brian and Sarah Martin and three brothers Gregg, Mark, and Mike along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
David was born in York, Pennsylvania to his parents Harry and Dorothy and grew up as the 2nd of four boys in the home. David moved to Houston soon after he graduated from York County Vocational School in 1976, and met Debbie, whom he would share his life with for more than 43 years. In his career and personal life, he was a great friend, mentor, handy-man, and an outstanding father figure to his daughter and many people who knew him. David was an avid classic rock listener and home improvement artist not only for himself, but for his circle of friends and family. David is loved and cherished by many and left a legacy of diligence, love, honesty, sincerity, an outstanding sense of humor, and will be dearly missed.
