Dan “Danny” Clayton McMillan, Jr., 67, departed this life on March 29, 2019 after a lengthy illness. Danny graduated from Waltrip High School in Houston and Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
He owned storage facilities and a body shop with his parents, in north Houston and enjoyed working with and meeting all kinds of people. He was a Lifetime Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and loved working around the farm and raising miniature donkeys with wife Debbie. Danny will be greatly missed by his family, his children and grandchildren and especially by his favorite donkey, Wilbur, and Golden Doodle, Carly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Clayton McMillan, his mother, Maureen Riley McMillan and his brother, David Scott McMillan.
Danny is survived by his wife, Deborah Day McMillan, his son; Wesley Clayton McMillan and wife Georgia, his daughter; Amy Michelle McMillan Risseeuw and husband, Isaac, grandchildren; Delanee Lynn McMillan; Lacey May Risseeuw, sisters and brother in law; Molly and Ricky Lartigue, Cathy Day and partner, Dave Salerno, as well as a number of close family and friends.
Danny will be laid to rest at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 South, The Woodlands, TX 77384 on Thursday, April 4 at 2:00 PM with family visitation before at 1:00. Condolences and memories may be left at forestparkthewoodlands.com.
