Cristyl worked in the automotive field for twelve years where she met the love of her life, and they had a 17 year romance, marrying in 2007. They were inseparable from almost the day they met, finding a multitude of common interests that they shared together. Cristyl was the beautiful, friendly, smiling person which attracted people to her, most of all Nate. They had a love story that comes once in a lifetime.
She is survived by her husband, Nate Murphy; stepson, Christian Murphy; parents, Susan Draves and husband Ed, and father Bill Westell; father and mother-in-law, Peggy and David Murphy; sisters, Ashley Werner and Rochelle Barwick; brother, Brian Barwick; grandparents, Jim and Gloria Fleming; her beloved dog, Louie; and numerous cousins and family members.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 14 from 3-5:00 p.m. at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 15 at 10:00 a.m. with a burial immediately following the service.
