Cindy Ann Krum

Cindy was born in Bangor, Maine on August 27, 1962 to Mary Ann and Frank Creghan. Cindy graduated from San Marcos High School in 1980. She obtained her Bachelor of Education degree from Sam Houston State University. Cindy worked as a teacher for over twenty years. She taught at Dueitt Middle School and Jenkins Elementary in Spring ISD.

Cindy enjoyed spending time with family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana. She was Married to Billy (Rusty) Wayne Long Jr. May 25, 1985 until his passing October 13, 2013. She married William Raymond Krum on July 29, 2019 until her passing. Her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren.

Cindy enjoyed traveling the world, scrapbooking, gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved living on her small ranch with her chickens, horses, ducks, dogs, and the fish in the pond. She was a big Dallas Cowboys fan, GO COWBOYS!!!

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband Billy (Rusty) Wayne Long Jr. and her father Francis (Frank) Lane Creghan.

Cindy is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Bain; husband, William R. Krum; children, Wesley Long and Kimberley (Jared) Lux; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Marissa, David Jr., Collin, Alexis, Audrina, and Zander; brother, Casey (Kathy) Creghan; sister, Susan (Jim) Scott; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Please join the family as they celebrate Cindy's life on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home located at 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Grand Hall followed by a reception in the R. L. Wood Event Room. Chaplain Kathy Rios will officiate. The family requests that bright colors be worn to services in Cindy's honor.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research at komen.org.
