Charlie was affiliated with many professional organizations in this lifetime, but two that he was most honored to be a part of were the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the March of Dimes of Greater Houston. Charlie was a lifetime committeeman of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and a 37 year committeeman of the Junior Commercial Steer Committee. He dedicated 11 years as a board member for the March of Dimes of Greater Houston.
Charlie loved the water; living on Lake Conroe for the last 17 years meant he spent countless hours doing what he loved, being on his boat and fishing with his son, Charlie. Another passion of his was, he, Karen and their daughter, Traci own a dance studio, Athletistry Performing Arts Center. He loved his "dance family" and one of his favorite things to do was watch recital and dance competitions.
