Candace “Candy” was a loving wife, mother, mother in law, Nana, and friend to many. After raising two boys, she really enjoyed having two granddaughters.
Candy was born in Kansas City, MO. but moved as a child with her parents and older brother and sister to a farm outside of Cole Camp, MO. She loved riding horses and barrel racing as a kid. She loved animals and made a pet of all the livestock on the farm.
Candy lived a rich life, loved her family very much, and made it well known she would do anything for them. When one of her children needed something or had a problem, she was always there. In her free time, she was entertained with gardening, canning, and music, especially Keith Urban and his guitar playing. She was particularly fond of holidays and birthdays and would ensure that they were special for everyone. She was an outstanding cook and baker which aided her in celebrating special occasions.
Candy loved her career of 29 years as a Real-Estate Agent. She enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends.
Candy is survived by her husband of 40 years Jeff Henthorne, her Son Ryan, Son Richard and his wife Donelle Henthorne with two grandchildren Emerie and Adalynn whom she loved very much.
Candy is preceded in death by her Mother and Father Richard and Lena Dale Banks and her brother Ronnie Banks and sister Sherry Banks.
