Brody Matthew Koerner, 18, of The Woodlands, passed away Friday, July 28. Brody was born on December 18, 1998 and graduated from The Woodlands High School on June 2, 2017. He planned to attend Texas Christian University, along with his brother, at the start of the school year. Brody was loved by all for his gentle demeanor and caring heart. Everyone who knew Brody was influenced by his infectious smile and that is how he will be remembered. He will be truly missed.
He is survived by his mother and father, Dana and Chet Koerner; his brother, Barrett Koerner; his sisters, Bailey and Briley Koerner; grandparents, Debbie and Norman Koerner and Gae and Jerry Glaser; and his uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a vigil starting at 7:00 p.m. at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 4, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and will be immediately followed by the Rite of Committal at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery. After the interment, friends are invited to greet the family during a reception in Forest Park’s event room.
