Brian was a lover of life and never lost an opportunity to cut up and have a good time with family and friends. He was so proud of his son Matthew and stepsons Jason and Andy. He was an incredibly supportive husband, always kind and loving.
Brian started life in Chicago, born on January 20, 1946, moving to Houston when he was around 5 yrs old. He played sports in school and excelled in baseball and track. After graduation from Robert E Lee high school, he joined the Air Force and was stationed at Holloman Air Force base in White Sands, NM where he also continued his education at New Mexico State university. After an honorable discharge, Brian entered into his first sales job and remained in sales until retirement at age 74.
Brian married his soulmate, Barbara, in 1987, and together they built a beautiful life. Brian loved to cook and was known for his Thanksgiving turkey with oyster dressing and his gumbo. Brian kept in touch with his many friends and saw them as often as he could. He never stopped making new friends either.
He was a lover of professional sports and never missed a televised Texans game if he could help it but was also an Astros fan.
Brian loved to travel with Barbara and he never missed an opportunity to do so, one of his most memorable trips was to travel to Belfast Ireland to see where his father had grown up. He also loved the beaches of the Emerald Coast, and he and Barbara traveled there as often as they could.
Brian will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Brian is preceded in death by his father John Walker, mother Bernadean Walker, sister Judy Walker, brother Warren Walker, nephews John Walker, Mark Franzen and Scott Powers. Brian leaves behind his beloved wife Barbara Walker, son Matthew Walker, stepsons Jason Stapp and Andy Stapp, sisters Pam Franzen and Susan Walker, nieces Jennifer Gilliam and Kirsten walker, nephews Glenn Walker and Mac Walker.
