There will be a gathering to celebrate Brenda's life on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas , and a gathering on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Johnson’s Funeral Home, 435 W. West Beauregard Avenue, San Angelo, Texas from 6-8 pm.
Brenda was born May 9, 1956, in San Angelo, Texas. She graduated from San Angelo Lakeview High School in 1974 and attended Angelo State University. Brenda was an easy friend to make and loved all her family and friends. She worked as a paralegal for the Law Office of Tom J. Usery, where she ran the show. Brenda loved animals and she was protected by her favorite dog – Allie who remained by her side throughout all the good and bad days.
She was preceded in death by her much adored grandparents, Henry (Doc) and Pearl Gilbreath of San Angelo and Brownwood, Texas; her father Jack Bridges of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of San Angelo, Texas and brother, Rodger Bridges of San Angelo.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Tommy J. Usery of The Woodlands, Texas. Mother, Lily Gilbreath Bridges of Amarillo; daughter Kayla Barilla and husband Anthony of Henderson, Nevada; grandsons, AJ and Carmine Barilla of Henderson, Nevada; daughter Marissa Mount of Vancouver, Washington; step-daughter, Venetra Usery DeLeon and Husband David of Austin, Texas and grandson Zaccai DeLeon of Austin. Brothers Larry Bridges of San Angelo; Lester Bridges of Amarillo; David Bridges and wife Jill of Abilene, Texas, and sister Jackie Bridges Corbin and husband Steve, of Amarillo, many other family and friends.
