Betty Lou Kline Janousek

She was born in El Paso, Texas to the late Willard and Ruth Kline. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Charlie Janousek; sister Mary Ellen Anderson and brother-in-law Jim Anderson. She is survived by her three sons and their families including 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter: Richard & Ann and their son Richard II of Tyler, TX, Ed and Tori and their children Holly, Matt, Travis and Raquel in College Station, TX, John and Martha and their children Megan and Michael in The Woodlands, TX; sister Carolyn Shepard and husband Jim of El Paso, TX

Betty graduated from Austin High School and remained friends with many of her classmates throughout her life. In addition to being the mother of three boys, she was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was a past president of the El Paso chapter. She was also the Avon Lady for over 45 years and worked in industry for awhile.

Visitation will be held from 7:00-8:00 AM on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 9:00 AM at Houston National Cemetery. A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at 11:00 AM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home with Pastor Don Kidd Officiating.
