Aron Arthur Nelson, of Spring, Texas, passed away too soon on December 4, 2024 at the age of 48. Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on October 16, 1976 into an airline family, he lived in several cities across the country, and spent three years in Fiji as a little guy. He graduated from Horizon High School in Thornton, Co in 1995 and from Front Range Community College, Denver before following his family to Houston. He worked as a systems analyst for the flight kitchen at the George Bush International Airport, Houston, for 20+ years.
Aron will be remembered by all who knew him for the sweet, kind, caring, inclusive, loyal, hard-working person that he was. He shouldered his progressive health issues with grace and acceptance, serving as an inspiration to all. The Colorado sports teams - Denver Broncos, Nuggets, Avalanche, are now missing their most ardent fan!
Aron is preceded in death by his father, Larry Nelson, and leaves behind his mother Caroline, his loving brother Todd, sister-in-law Deanna, niece Madison, nephew Noah, extended family, friends and co-workers. He will be sorely missed by all.
The family wishes to thank the team at Good Shepherd Hospice for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his honor to the Marfan Foundation, Port Washington, NY (https://marfan.org)
