Mr. Anthony Thomas Cardone

There will be a service for Mr. Anthony Thomas Cardone at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2022 in the Chapel Mausoleum at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery located 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.

Tom, as he was affectionately known by loved ones, passed away July 31, 2022 at the age of 92 in his longtime home of The Woodlands, Texas. Tom was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rosalie Catherine Cardone; and his sisters, Florence Cardone DiGiose and Bridget Cardone Leone. Tom Cardone was the youngest child of Rocco and Carmela Cardone, born May 8, 1930 in East Boston, Massachusetts.

Tom was married to the love of his life, Rosalie, for 54 lovely years. Tom is survived by five beloved children, David, Debbie, Linda, Paul, and Laura; as well as 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren who love him dearly.

Tom served in the United States Air Force from 1948-1950 and was the first person in his family to attend college. He graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Geology from the Colorado School of Mines and later earned a Masters of Science Degree from the University of Utah. Tom was a geological engineer who worked for several prominent companies including the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, EGG, and Bechtel.

Tom loved spending time with family, good food, his loving dogs, Woodie and Dexter, reading, and listening to music - particularly Frank Sinatra, Celine Dion, Dean Martin, and Luciano Pavarotti.

Tom will be remembered for his joyful laugh, wisdom, funny jokes, generosity, and ability to make others smile and feel special.
