Alice was a faith-filled and loving sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was passionate about her girls, her large extended family, her gardens and her students.
She dedicated her professional life to teaching children and education administration. A distinguished career spanning 30+ years included teaching first grade, special education, and third grade followed by years as an elementary school counselor, vice principal and eventually principal. After retirement from an impactful career as an educator, she dedicated her time and efforts to her own grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She attended multiple bible studies each week, sharing her knowledge of the Lord and His word with other Christ followers. Decorating for Christmas was a favorite activity that she prepared for all year long. She loved all kinds of plants and flowers, filling her yard with winding paths, ponds, rocks and all kinds of greenery and color. She shared her love of life with a circle of girlfriends that cared for each other fiercely. More than anything she loved her girls, each uniquely. She provided love, wisdom, knowledge, experience, passion and perfectly-timed humor. She leaves a legacy of love to all that knew her.
