He was born in Richmond, Kansas on June 10, 1932 and graduated from Richmond High School on May 14, 1950.
He served in the United States Army from February 1953 until February 1955 and fought in the Korean War, finishing as a Staff Sergeant in the 59th Field Artillery Battalion of the 3rd Division. He received the United Nations service medal, the Korean service medal, the National Defense service medal, and the Good Conduct medal.
He was married to Charlotte Anne Brown on September 8, 1961 until her passing on August 9, 2009.
He was married to Jayne McConnell Wright on February 14, 2014.
Adrian enjoyed a 38 year career with Delta Air Lines, as the Station Manager of a number of different cities.
Being a Christian was the most important thing in his life and he had a passion to pray for his family and the needs of others.
Travel was his greatest earthly passion and he and Charlotte traveled to Scotland, Ireland, England, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, Greece, South Korea, Alaska, Hawaii, and many destinations within the US.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Pickert, his mother, Blanche Pickert, his sister Imelda Nilges, his brother Vernon Pickert, his brother James Pickert, and his wife Charlotte Pickert.
He is survived by his wife Jayne Pickert, his son David Pickert, daughter in law Sherry Pickert, and his granddaughters Sabrina Pickert and Angela Pickert.
