Anthony “Tony” S. Alu, 72, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019, after a long, hard battle with cancer. He was born in Miami, FL to Anthony and Stella. He gradated from Florida State University and was an avid FSU sports fan and a die-hard Seminole football fan. He was employed by Raymond James & Associates in Weston, FL for 20 years, and retired to The Villages in 2013. He is survived by his wife, Stella, of 35 years; a son, Sean Alu and wife Susan of Fort Worth, TX; a daughter, Leana Lee and husband Mercer of Oxford, FL; and six grandchildren. He also leaves behind three brothers and one sister. Tony was a loving, kind, funny and generous man who thought the world of his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Cornerstone in The Villages.
