Wilton "Will" Elwick Sr.

Mr. Wilton "Will" Elwick, Sr., of Texarkana, passed away November 25, 2012 in a local hospital. Mr. Elwick was born February 6, 1938in Collinsville, IL. He was a Methodist and a veteran of the U. S. Navy.

Mr. Elwick was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia McDaniel and a great granddaughter, Isabel Elwick.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Elwick of Texarkana; daughters, Carole Upchurch of Black Hawk, MS and Rita Casey of Lake Dallas, TX; sons, Bobby Elwick of Atlanta, TX and Wilton Elwick, Jr., of Texarkana; five grandchildren Thomas Short, Todd Short, Chris Elwick all of Texarkana, Erin Coats of Atlanta, TX., and Ben Casey Jr. of Lake Dallas, TX; three great grandchildren Wyatt Elick of Texarkana, Joel "Rue" Short of Texarkana and Rhett Simpson and one on the way; two brothers Don Gerstenecker and Gary Elwick both of Collinsvillel, IL.

Memorial service will be 2 PM Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Chapewood Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Robert Mularski.
