Willaine Theresa Aycock

Willaine Theresa Newman Aycock passed away peacefully on August 13, 2014 at Cornerstone Retirement Community in Texarkana, Texas. She was born June 8, 1941 in Texarkana, Arkansas to William (Billy) and Elaine Newman. She married Adrian Aycock in 1974 and became the beloved mother of her two children, Brent and Jennifer Aycock. She also has a surviving brother William (Bill) Newman and sister, Bernadette Gerrald and five beautiful grandchildren that she adored.

Willaine attended St. Edwards High School in Texarkana going on to obtaining a degree in Education and a Masters in Social Work. Her proudest achievement was receiving her degree in Montessori teaching. She had such love for all her little preschoolers and helped them develop a good start in life.

She will truly be missed by her friends, family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A rosary will be held Friday, August 15, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at East Funeral Home 2807 Moores Lane, Texarkana, Texas with visitation afterwards.

Funeral services will be at St. Edwards Catholic Church on August 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Lawrence Chellaian and Deacon David Fowler officiating. Interment will be at Wilton Cemetery, Wilton, Arkansas.
