Wendell Leon Henderson Sr.

Wendell L. Henderson, Sr., 73, of Texarkana, AR. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at his home. Wendell was born on May 18, 1946 in Mineral Springs, AR. He was a member of Sovereign Grace Missonary Baptist Church. His favorite pass time was shooting his guns but most of all he loved his family.

Preceded in death by his wife Hazel Henderson; parents R.D. and Dollie Henderson; two brothers Wayne and Joe Henderson; two sisters Cathy Tackett and Melba Farmer; one grandson Jonathan Scott Kidd.

Survived by his son and daughter-in-law Wendell and Micki Henderson of Atlanta, TX; one daughter and son-in-law Juanita and William Kidd of Texarkana, AR; one brother and sister-in-law Ronnie and Sarah Henderson of Texarkana, AR; five grandchildren Matthew and Joshua Kidd, Keri Henderson and Amber Cowart and Kellyn Henderson. Plus many other relatives.

Graveside funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 1, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery officiated by Bro. Randy Johnson. Service is under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
