Mrs. Mills was born November 25, 1916 in Miller County, Arkansas to Lynch and Mary Purifoy.She was the oldest of ten children and was a homemaker and a member of Southside Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband James Harley Mills.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law; Cynthia Ann and Joel Shipley and a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and June Mills.
Also left to cherish her memory are two sisters; Golden Stuckey Anderson and Viola Ward , granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Cynthia and Rey Ramirez and grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jim Bob and Christy Mills and her three precious great grandchildren, Sammy Ramirez, Amelia Ramirez and Kameron Mills along with many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13th, 2019 at East Funeral Home-Downtown Chapel with Brother Tim Wilder officiating.
Pallbearers will be, Jim Bob Mills, Rey Ramirez, Bill Allen, Sam Rose, David Purifoy and Jerry Hensley.
Burial will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 12th, 2019 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
