Shirley Cecile Sorsby

Shirley Sorsby, 79, of Redwater, TX. passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020 in a local hospital. Mrs. Sorsby was born June 12, 1940 in St. Albans, VT. She was retired from retail sales. She is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by a brother Raymond Cadieux and her parents.

She is survived by her husband Charles Sorsby; daughter; Dawn Sorsby, son and wife Chuck and Tracy Sorsby; son and wife Billy and Becky Sorsby; daughter and husband Cindy and David Jones; daughter and husband Brenda and Jason Dudley; son and wife Jamey and Kristi Sorsby and daughter and husband Tami and Steve Morgan; one sister; Theresa Charron; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren plus many other family and friends.

Rosary will be recited Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 3:30 P.M. at East Funeral Home-Downtown officiated by Deacon Craig Lashford with visitation to follow.

Funeral service will be Monday, February 3, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at East Funeral Home-Downtown with Father Stephen Duyka and Rev. Todd Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
