Sharon Wade

Sharon Wade, wife, mother and homemaker departed this life October 13, 2011, at her home in Little River County. Sharon was born November 28, 1959 in Waynesville N.C. to the late Mitchell West and Mildred M. Earley of Ashville N.C.

Sharon grew up in the military home of Mildred M. and Roy Earley of Greenville S.C. Sharon was certified in Industrial Instrumentation working in Texarkana where she met Hal Wade, marrying in 1993 and settling in Ashdown AR.

Sharon was a devoted mother and wife. Sharon also served as a volunteer for Windsor Cottage Assisted Living in Texarkana AR touching the lives of many seniors. Sharon extended her compassion to children and families throughout the community.

Celebrating her memories, Sharon is survived by her husband, Hal Wade; daughter Katherine Wade, daughter and son-in-law Holley Berry and Dakota Davis; granddaughter Abigail Davis, all of Ashdown AR; father Roy Earley of Greenville S.C.; two sisters and one brother-in-law Kay and Randy Deaver of Maggie Valley N.C., and Christy Keeter of Charleston, S.C.; one brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Maria Earley of Dothan, AL; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Millwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Perkins officiating. Burial will be in Ashdown Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Visitation will be 6p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
