Robert B Vogel, Jr., 84, formerly of Texarkana passed away on November 18th in Houston. Born January 2, 1931 to Robert Vogel Sr. and Venus Deaton. Robert Jr. served in the US Air Force in Korea and was a former employee of the Texarkana Gazette and the Houston Post where he retired after 30 yrs. of service.
Survivors include three sons and daughters in law, Jim & Tina Vogel of Montgomery, TX, David and Ginger Vogel and Clyde and Gina Vogel of Conroe, TX. Two daughters and one son-in-law. Cindy Vogel of Plano, TX and Chris and John Palmore of Apple Valley, Calif. 11 Grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service is planned at East Funeral Home, 602 Olive St, Texarkana, TX on Saturday, December 5th at 2pm, with Rev. Don Tedford officiating,.
