Retha L. Barton

Retha L. Barton, 77, of Texarkana, AR passed away December 1, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Barton was born May 10, 1938 in Brownfield, TX. She was a member of Hickory Street Baptist Church, Texarkana, AR.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Wayne Barton of Texarkana, AR; sons and daughters-in-law, Nolan and Cheryl Barton of Cave Springs, AR, and Kirby and Sarah Barton of Springdale, AR; daughter and son-in-law, Janeen and Charles Thacker of Texarkana, AR; grandson, Benjamin Thacker of Texarkana, AR; granddaughter, Emily Reed and her husband, Tanner of Bryant, AR, grandsons Tyler Barton and Braedan Barton both of Springdale, AR; brother and sister-in-law, James and Barbara Brandon of Lubbock, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Service will be 10 a.m., Friday, December 4, 2015 at Hickory St. Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Strebeck officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2015 at East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
