Raymond Easley (89), of Ashdown, AR, was called home on January 21, 2016. His life began February 28, 1926 in Garland City, AR. Raymond and his wife of 69 years, Mina Faye (Patterson) Easley, were blessed by the Lord's grace with a healthy, beautiful family. Proceeding his retirement from Bell Helicopter, Raymond and Mina moved to Ashdown, Arkansas. He dedicated his life to The Lord and his family. His grandchildren will remember him with high regard to be the "best crappie fisherman and whitetail deer hunter that Arkansas ever saw".
Raymond now rejoices with those whom preceded him in death, in the kingdom of our Father in heaven: Parents Jim and Leona (Crank) Easley; Siblings: Willard, Clifton, Cecil, Kenneth and Clint Easley, Arlen, Myrtle and infant twins Paul and Pauline Easley. The loving relatives that are survived by Raymond are his dearly beloved wife, Mina Easley; Sons: James "Jim" Easley, Jeff Easley and Jason Easley and wife Kendra Daughter: Judy Martinez and husband John Sisters: Virginia Nolte, Valerie Sweet, Mary Alice Burdette and Joyce Stanfield. Raymond leaves behind eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be 11 a.m., Monday, January 25, 2016 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Travis Young officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
