Odessa Cutchall Collins

Mrs. Collins was born May 27, 1927 to H.B. and Mary Cutchall in Fouke, Arkansas and lived in Texarkana most of her life. She was a retired cosmetologist for over forty years owning, Odessa’s Beauty Shop and Southtown Hair Fashions. She was a faithful member of Prince Street Church of Christ.

She was a sweet and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. Odessa enjoyed playing Phase 10, watching her Saturday night music shows and reading her bible each night. She never met a stranger and always had a word of encouragement or a smile to give to a friend or a person passing by.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and love of her life of forty-eight years, James Collins and her siblings, Mildred Reid, Oma Lee Blackmon Banks, Almeda Reed, Drewie Cutchall, B.D. Cutchall, Eldridge Cutchall, and Henry Banard Cutchall Jr.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving children, Shelia and John Gollwitzer, Peggy and Vince Senatore and Lee Collins all of Texarkana, Texas; grandchildren, Kristie Lewis, Amy and James West of Texarkana, Texas, Brandy Thompson of Texarkana, Arkansas, Katie Senatore of Kyle, Texas and Sara Senatore of San Antonio, Texas; great-grandchildren, Logan and Lindsey Lewis of Texarkana, Texas; one sister-in-law, Nellie Mae Cutchall of Fouke, Arkansas, along with her special nieces and nephews and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 6, 2021 at East Funeral Home Chapel Downtown with Buddy Nall and Terry Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Corinth Church of Christ Cemetery, Fouke, Arkansas.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, March 5, 2021, at the funeral home.

The family will be at the home of Amy and James West after the funeral, 810 Franklin, Texarkana, Texas. They will also receive friends prior to the funeral at the home of Lee Collins, 4013 N. Park Road, Texarkana, Texas.
