Mary A. DeSantis, 86, of Texarkana, TX passed away August 9, 2018 in a local hospice facility. Mrs. DeSantis was born January 18,1932 in Marshall, TX. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church were she was former director of WMU and was a Sunday school teacher as well as a member of the Texarkana Women Chorus.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James DeSantis.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy DeSantis of Texarkana, Patty and Don Cochran of Texarkana and Judy and Kent Peetz of Cape Girardeau MO; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Al Pickett of Baton Rouge, LA; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Nina Dyson of Lancaster, CA, 8 grandchildren,
8 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 10am Monday, August 13, 2018 at East Memorial Chapel-Moores Lane with Rev. Kevin Myers and Rev. Don Brazile officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm Sunday, August 12, 2018 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
