Old friend I just heard you were gone,  rest in peace

Chip was such a great friend to me and was always there over the last 35 years. He helped me so much when my mom passed last year! He was just an all-around great human and will be missed greatly!

John and I were so sorry to learn of Chip's passing.  We thought a lot of him . Last time we saw him was at Highland Park Church on Hazel Street. He was always smiling and friendly .

Saddened to learn of his passing.  My last encounter with him was at a polling booth, and he was the dutiful son helping his infirmed father vote.  With deep sympathy for his family.

The world has lost some goodness and light with the loss of Chip. He was truly the epitome of a friend to many.

Although I knew Chip as a teenager in school with him, I have gotten to know him as an adult at our reunions and as his friend on Facebook.  I have loved our conversations about the Lord and the world  we live in.  What a great guy with Godly values and thoughts to share.  He has also advised  me a few times on things I needed help working out.   His great laugh, his kind heart, and his faithfulness to Jesus will be remembered. Also his love for children,  animals, and our country. I will miss you, Chip. I hope your mansion is next to mine.

We are so sorry for the loss of Chip passing. We cherish our memories of our last visit with Chip at his nephew, Rhett and Avery’s wedding. Also, we will always remember other visits we had with Chip over the years. We are praying for all the family we  love all . We loved Chip
