home. She was born on May 6, 1932 to Neal & Emma Sargeant in Danville, VT. Many will
remember Marilyn as the morning cashier Skaggs Alpha Beta on State Line and at Super 1
Foods until she retired after 24 years at the age of 84 in 2017. She was a loving wife, mother,
grandmother & great-grandmother. She served in the United States Air Force where she met
the love of her life John Graham. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Graham, her
parents Neal & Emma Sargeant and five brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Graham of Texarkana, TX & Melissa Smith of Marion,
AR; four grandchildren Casey Tate of Texarkana, TX, Ronald Kelley (Christie) of Fouke, AR, Kyle
Hillis (Nikki) of New Boston, TX & Kelsey Casey (Richie) of Homer, LA; four great-grandchildren;
one brother Theodore Sargeant of Huntington, VT and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice for all of their support, care and love during this
time.
Cremation will be under the direction of East Funeral Home, Texarkana, AR. In Lieu of flowers,
please make a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN.
