Marceil Carpenter

Marceil Carpenter, 92, of Texarkana, TX passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2014 at a local hospital. She was born on October 20, 1922 in Texarkana, AR. Mrs Carpenter was a member of first Baptist Church-Moores Lane and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband R.N. "Speedy" Carpenter.

Survivors included three sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Penny Carpenter of Texarkana, TX, David and Linda Carpenter of Texarkana, TX and Keith Carpenter of Horatio, AR; five grandchildren, Rob Carpenter of Texarkana, Caven Carpenter and his wife Stephanie of Texarkana, Brian Carpenter and his wife Karen of Texarkana, Camille Davis and her husband Chris of Denton, TX, and Sumer Carpenter of Shadyside, MD; 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at East Memorial Chapel-Moores Lane with Rev. Jeff Shreve officiating.

Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2014 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.

The family will be at 1019 Fair Oaks Dr., #3, Texarkana, TX.
