M. A. "Bill" Thomas

M. A. "Bill" Thomas, 97, of Fouke, AR passed away June 7, 2016 in a local nursing home. Mr. Thomas was born April 22, 1919 in Fouke, AR. He was a member of Macadonia Baptist Church #1, Fouke, AR; and veteran of the U. S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norene Thomas; and a son, David Thomas.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Juanita and Glenn Pilgreen and Betty and Steve Davis; sons and daughters-in-law, Martin A. Thomas, III and Theresa, Rev. George and Vickie Thomas and Melvin and Mary Thomas; 17 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Service will be 10 a.m., Friday, June 10, 2016 at Macedonia Baptist Church #1 with Rev. Kenny Polk and Rev. Josh Mudford officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery #1, Fouke, AR under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Macedonia Baptist Church #1. Family will be at the home of Betty and Steve Davis, 2426 MC 22, Fouke, AR.
