Luther Bell, 77, of Fouke, AR formerly of Texarkana, TX, Pine Bluff, AR and Panama City Beach, FL passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 at a local hospital. He was born on November 25, 1939 in Fouke, AR. Mr. Bell was a member of First Baptist Church-Moores Lane, he was a Graduate and Alumni Member of the Gemological Institute of America, retired owner of Crocker and Bell's Jewelry Store and Luther Bell's Jewelry Store and was a Alumni of Arkansas A&M College (U of A) at Monticello, AR. He was also a Mason and a member of Jacob Brump Masonic Lodge # 160, Pine Bluff, AR and veteran of the U.S. Army and Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his wife Cherry Cook Bell, his parents John and Nellie (Easley) Bell, two sisters, Betty Jean Easley and Barbara Bell Kropp.
Survivors included two daughters and son-in-law, Tiffany Bell Smith and husband Chad of Fouke, AR and Robin Bell of Texarkana, TX; son Kenyon "Kenny" Bell of Texarkana, TX; grandchildren, Trevor Smith and Sydnie Smith of Fouke, AR; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Bill and Becky Bell of Mena, AR.
Services will be 3pm Sunday, February 26, 2017 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown with Rev. Kevin Holt officiating. Burial will be in Sylverino Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home -Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 2pm to 3pm Sunday at the funeral Home.
Memorials can be made to The King Worship Center Renovation at First Baptist Church-Moores Lane and to Hospice of Texarkana.
