Kenneth Mitchell Butler, Sr., 69, of Texarkana, TX, died Sunday, August 10, 2014 in a Texarkana, TX. Mr. Butler was born February 13, 1945 in Oak Grove, LA. He was retired from Domtar Paper Mill.

Mr. Butler was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Robert Jr. and Lena Butler.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy R. Butler of Texarkana; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Michelle Kennedy and Scott Kennedy; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Mitchell Butler, Jr. and Sheila Butler all of Texarkana; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie Butler and Patty Butler of West Monroe, LA; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be 10am Saturday August, 16 2014 with Deacon David Fowler officiating at East Funeral Home – Downtown.

Arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
