Born January 6, 1961, in Texarkana, Arkansas, Julie was the beloved daughter of John and Rachel Gibson. She was preceded in death by her father, John Gibson.
Julie was a proud graduate of Arkansas High School, Class of 1979, and a devoted member of Northwood Presbyterian Church. Her faith, warmth, and love for others left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Julie’s greatest joy came from the life she shared with her loving husband of 30 years, Jeff Calfee, and their cherished fur babies, Ellie and Izzie. She adored her family deeply—especially her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Julie had a special love for Christmas, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and the close friendships she shared with her treasured Bunko girls.
Julie is survived by her husband, Jeff Calfee; her five children: Lyndsey (Marshall) Craig, Taylor Calfee, Hope Taylor, Kayden Calfee, and Ryan (Julisa) Calfee; and six grandchildren: Coleman Craig, Woodson Craig, Liliane Cagle, Hunter Cagle, Grace Calfee, and Matthew Calfee.
She also leaves behind her loving mother, Rachel Gibson; her sister, Susan Gibson Dellinger (Terry); and a host of extended family and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.
Julie was the heart of her family—an amazing wife, a devoted mother, and the most loving “Juju” her grandchildren could have asked for. Her legacy of kindness, faith, and unwavering love will continue to live on in all who knew her.
