Jose Perez, 61, of Fouke, AR. passed away June 11, 2021. He was born in Mexico to his parents Eugenio Perez and Catarina Rodriguez on November 5,1959. He was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Texarkana. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching wrestling and spending time with his friends and family. He was a very hard working man who worked in the Fouke area for over 45 years. He was loved by many family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents Eugenio Perez and Catarina Rodriguez; two sisters Abundia Perez and Valeria Perez and four brothers Canuto Perez, Martin Perez. Macario Perez and Cruz Perez.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Maria Perez; four sons Jose Perez, Jr.. Antonio Perez, Javier Perez, and Adrian Perez; one daughter Catalina Perez; one brother Marcelo Perez; two sisters Maria Gertudris Perez and Albina Perez of Mexico.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 19, 2021 at St. Edwards Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Texarkana, AR.
Rosary and visitation will be recited on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 8:00 P.M. at the family home at 14687 Hwy 71, Fouke, AR. 71837.
Family will be receiving friends Tuesday, June 15, 2021 through Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
