Jerolyn Pippins Duren

Jerolyn F Pippins Duren, 91, of Texarkana, TX entered eternal rest on November 23rd, 2023.

She was a loving wife, a great cook, feisty grandmother, and always dressed to the nines. Being a hairdresser was a perfect career choice as she loved making others beautiful. She loved visits with her large family and always looked forward to helping organize the annual McDowell Family Reunion. In retirement she and husband Lonnie spent their time blue grassing at different festivals and camping with friends and family. She was a devout believer and beloved member of The First Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband Lonnie Duren, Linda Kurtz of Texarkana, TX, Jerry Pippins and Sue Parsons of Austin, TX, Steve Duren and Richard and Shelly Greer of Texarkana, TX, two sisters: Naomi Allen and Mellow Lou Crysel, twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by Paul Dick Pippins, son Paul Ray Pippins, granddaughter Helena Pippins, three sisters and six brothers. She was loved and will greatly be missed.

The services will be held on Tuesday, November 28th, 2023, at East Funeral Home, 2807 Moore’s Lane, Texarkana, 2:00pm.

A famiy visitation for Jerolyn will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at East Funeral Home, 2807 Moores Ln, Texarkana, Texas 75503.
