James Wendall Williamson

James Williamson, 77, of Texarkana, AR passed away March 29, 2021 at his home. Mr. Williamson was born October 26, 1943 in Rotan, TX. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in the Vietnam war and a Christian.

Preceded in death by two daughters, Vicky Halliday and Rhonda Burt, his parents, Mark and Martha Williamson; three brothers, Glenn Ray Williamson, Robert Mark Williamson and Jim Tom Williamson.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Darlene Williamson of Texarkana, AR; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Duncan and Robert of Hooks, TX, Donna Wright of Murfreesboro, AR and Becky Loden and David of Athens, TX; and a sister, Martha Roberts of Genoa, AR.; number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 1pm Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Peters officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
