James Rigney

James A. Rigney, 86, of Texarkana, AR passed away December 4, 2010 in a local nursing home. Mr. Rigney was born January 31, 1924 in.Texarkana, AR He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp WWII and a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church and former member of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Rigney of Texarkana, AR; four daughters and son-in-law Anna Pickens, Margaret Lane, Jeanette Guffey,Susan and Ricky Harvey all of Texarkana, AR; three brothers Andrew Rigney and Edward Rigney both of Texarkana, AR and Michael Rigney of Houston, TX; 10 grandchildren and spouses, 19 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be 4pm Sunday, December 5, 2010 at East Funeral Home - Downtown.with visitation to follow from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 3pm Monday, December 6, 2010 at St. Edwards Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Worm officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
