James C. Goodrum, 78, of Texarkana, AR died Friday August 26, 2011 in a local hospital. He was born on December 17, 1932 in Nashville, AR. Mr. Goodrum was veteran in the U.S. Army during the Korea war.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ann Goodrum.
Surviors include son and daughter-in-law Tommy and Karen Goodrum of Texarkana, AR; sister Vivian Roberts of Nashville, AR and a number of neices and nephews.
Services will be 2pm Monday August 29, 2011 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown with Deacon David Fowler officiating.
Burial will be in Biggs Chapel Cemetery in Nathan, AR under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm Sunday at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
