James "Jim" William Defore

He was born on July 21, 1951 in Macon, GA. He was retired sales representative for Air Gas and served in in the U.S. Air Force.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Richard Defore.

Survivors include his wife Janet Defore of Texarkana, TX; two sons, Jamie Wade Defore of Texarkana, AR and Murphy Edward Hawkins of Australia; two daughters, Leslie Michelle Flowers of Tupelo, MS and Catherine Croak of Norton, MA; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara Anne Defore Johnson and Carl Johnson of Bell Buckle, TN; sister-in-law Linda Defore of Macon, GA; four brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wayne Shultice, Gene Shultice, Lanny and Lynn Shultice and Darren and Kristie Walker; 10 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews and special friend Billy Lansdell.

Family will receive friends from 10am to 11am on Monday, April 29, 2019 at East Memorial Chapel with

funeral service to follow at 11am with Rev. Don Shirley and Darren Walker officiating. Burial will be in Shultice Family Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Memorials can be made to St Judes Children Hospital.
