Harvey Couch Cook, 87, of Texarkana, TX passed away December 20, 2018 in Texarkana, AR. Mr. Cook was born October 28, 1931 in Gillett, AR. He was a retired teacher from TISD after 24 years; he served in the Army National Guard Reserves. Mr. Cook was a member of Texas Retired Teachers Association.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Divine Cook; great great granddaughter, Kinsley Iris Hurst; and 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Survivors include his sons, Shannon Cook of Lake Jackson, TX and Russell Cook of Texarkana, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and David Williams of Texarkana, AR; sister, Ann Gammon of DeWitt, AR; 8 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, December 22, 2018 at East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
