Harold was born January 27, 1937 to Herman and Mabel Smith at their home in Red Lick, Texas and was laid in an apple crate for his bed.
He retired from Day and Zimmerman after 38 years on February 1, 1999.
Harold was a loving husband, daddy and papa. He touched many lives with his kindness. He loved to hunt and fish, but he mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Mabel Smith; three brothers, Lee, Lloyd and Kenneth Smith; one sister Dorothy Grigson and a daughter Connie Rehagen.
Survivors include his wife Patricia of 56 years of Fouke, Arkansas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Gerry Anderson of Angleton, Texas and Kim and Jerry Don Gill of Fouke, Arkansas, Catherine Rehm, whom he considered one of his daughters.
Also left to cherish his memory are two grandchildren Allison Lemley and her husband Logan Lemley of Texarkana, Arkansas and Wendy Wilson of Angleton, Texas; three great grandsons, Christian, Chase and Camron Wilson of Angleton, Texas.
Harold is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Enhabit Hospice and his caregivers Margaret Fields, Donna Gulledge, Margaret Green, Mary Attaway and Alma Harris for the excellent care they provided for Harold.
The family will be at the home of Harold and Patricia Smith located at 17976 MC 10, Fouke, Arkansas 71837.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm , Thursday, February 13th, 2025 at River of Life Worship Center , 1405 MC 29, Fouke, Arkansas 71837.
Funeral services will begin at 2:30 pm on Thursday February 13th, 2025 at River of Life Worship Center with Rev. Frank McFerrin officiating.
Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery.
