Conner said he saw Trevor and Sydney in town, and that’s how we heard...She was such a precious person, and I just remember her and your dad being so involved in the kids’ activities when y’all were here... I was Lesa’s friend growing up. I cannot count the number of times I spent the night with Don and Sue.  They were a second family to me.    Don and Sue always treated me like a second child, and even took me with them to their cabin and on numerous trips to their land where Lesa and I worked and played.  I haven’t seen Sue for many years, but I will never forget all the memories I have of them.    Lesa, I am truly sorry for your loss, and you will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days to come.    

I worked with Sue for over 30 years at Cooper Tire and she was a wonderful and great woman . I am truly sorry for her passing .

I am sorry to hear about Sue’s death. She was a special person.  I was blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Sue in the early days of my career at the Cooper Texarkana Plant.  In addition to working with her at the Plant, she was instrumental in helping Deb & I assimilate to life here in Texarkana when we first moved here with 2 small children.  

It is with fond memories that I recall Sue’s response when anyone greeted her with “Good morning Sue, how are you?”
Her response…..   “Perfect as usual!"
Perfect as usual… That’s the way I choose to remember her.

She inspired Bonnie and me with her resilience and take charge attitude. Brandon and Aaron treasure the memories of playing cards with you guys.
