Glynda LaJuan Morgan, 75 of Hooks, TX. passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Morgan was born August 23, 1942 in Queen City, TX. She retired from Walmart after many year as a cashier. Was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witness in 1963. She loved being out doors, gardening and she was a self taught artist. Also loved to cook for her family. Glynda found her greatest strength in her God Jehovah.
Preceded in death by her husband James H. Morgan; a grandson Jeremy Lee Springer; her dear mother Gracie M. Smith and father Hobson Buzbee.
Survived by five sons William Johnson Springer, IV, Brian Nicholas Springer both of Hooks, TX., Robert Louise Springer of Texarkana, TX., Brent Keith Springer of Denver, CO. and Bradley James Springer of Maud, TX; two daughters Sherri Renne' Simpson of Mansfield, TX., and Sandra Kay Yates of Texarkana, TX. ; two brothers Benny Buzbee of Natchitoches, LA. and Jerry Jones of Austin, TX.; one sister Marie of Houston, TX. 16 grandchildren: Ronald, Rachael, Brittany, Robert, Jr., Cody, Cheyenne, Alexis, Tyler, Amanda, Angelina, Anthony, Jr., Tye, Sierra, Braydon, Timothy and Christopher. 20 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be officiated by Ricky Hughes at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 203 Quail Street, Hooks, TX.
Family will receive friends Friday, March 16, 2018 from 6 to 8 P.M. at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
