Glenda Tollett

Glenda Tollett, age 90, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023. She was born on August 27, 1933 in Horatio, AR. She was a dedicated medical professional at Southern Clinic for over 20 years. Loved traveling and took many bus trips with her cousin and other friends. She loved her flower garden and working in it. She loved her pets especially her yorkies and chihuahua Marco. Long time member of First United Methodist, Texarkana, AR.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Tollett; Parents Sam and Eula Barrick; two brothers Charles Barrick and Clarence Barrick.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Jay and Martha Tollett; one daughter and son-in-law Gina and Charles Russell; four grandchildren Nick (Amanda) Tollett of Stephenville, TX, Will (Kati) Tollett of Burleson, TX, Laura Scott of Texarkana, AR and Darrell Scott, Jr. of Texarkana, TX. Four great-grandchildren and a special friend Stephanie Pierce with Dierksen Hospice.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM. Monday, September 18, 2023 at East Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Rufus Robinson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
