Gene Steel Davis

Gene S. Davis, 76 of Texarkana, AR passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at a local hospice. He was born on March 9, 1941 in Harrisburg, AR. Mr. Davis was the owner of Gene and Sons Appliance and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Davis of Texarkana, AR; four daughters, Linda J. White of Texarkana, TX, Lisa Smith of Jonesboro, AR, Marie Davis of Jonesboro, AR and Edith Hankins of Russellville, AR; six sons, Gene Davis, Jr. of Texarkana, AR, Mark Davis of Texarkana, TX, Tim Davis of Jonesboro, AR, Sammy Hubbard of Austin, TX, Nathan Hubbard of Texarkana, AR, Jason Hubbard of Texarkana, AR and Samuel Hubbard of Alaska; two brothers, Ray Davis of New Boston, TX and Carl Davis of Las Vegas, NV; 21 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 1 to 2pm Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be 2pm Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown with Rev. Dennis Heath officiating. Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
