Elaine V. Bledsoe, age 88, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023. She was born on November 8, 1934, in Campbell, MO. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Retired from Wal-Mart after many years. Gardening was a passion of hers and brought her much joy. She especially loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby L. Bledsoe, a son James Monroe Bledsoe, a granddaughter Brooke L. Bledsoe and two great-granddaughters Josie A. and Jorie L. Burt.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Jerry and Robin Bledsoe, Bobby Kent and Roxie Bledsoe; one daughter and son-in-law Janet and Joe Littleton; one brother Delmer Hogan; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren plus numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at East Funeral Home-Downtown with Revs. James Ross and Kenny Polk officiating. Burial to follow in Sylverino Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
Family will be at the home of Jerry and Robin Bledsoe, 19 PR 1073, Fouke, AR.
