Edward M. Rigney Sr.

Edward M. Rigney, Sr., 89, of Texarkana, TX passed away June 8, 2011 at his home. Mr. Rigney was born December 6, 1921 in Texarkana, AR. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church; attended Providence Academy School, Texarkana, AR and was a member of Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Rigney of Texarkana, TX; brother, Michael Rigney of Houston, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Edward M. Rigney, Jr. and his wife, Lea Ann of Rowlett, TX; and eight nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 11, 2011 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane Chapel with Monsignor Xavier Pappu officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

Rosary will be recited 6 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2011 at East Memorial Chapel - Moores Lane with visitation to follow.
