Dexter R. Ford

Dexter R. Ford 84, of Texarkana, Texas passed away in a local nursing home on Sunday, February 13, 2011. Mr. Ford was born on January 22, 1927 in Nashville, AR. He is a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church. He is also a veteran of the Navy, 32nd degree Mason, retired from Red River Army Depot and past president of Red Cross of Texarkana.

Survivors are his wife Llvay Ford of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law Larry and Cindy Ford of Texarkana, a daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Nathan Siebel of Texarkana; one brother Kenneth Ford of Nashville, AR; two grandchildren and granddaughter-in-law Paul and Sandy Ford of Wake Village, TX and Chris Ford of Tyler, TX.; one granddaughter Misha Polk of Texarkana; three great grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be 10 A.M. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at East Funeral Home Chapel-Moores Lane with Rev. Craig Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in East Memorial Gardens under direction of East Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, February 15, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M. at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
